About

Footprints 4 Autism is officially registered as a not-for-profit charity for supporting the families of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Since 2004, it has provided recreational programs for children and youth with autism. 

Footprints 4 Autism is a volunteer-staffed organization funded by generous financial donations and grants from its supporters.

  • No. We offer recreational activities for our clients. 

  • We try out best to offer clients spots. We will contact families from the waitlist to fill a spot. Waitlist families also have the opportunity to participate in our camps throughout the year.

Volunteer: Dedicated volunteers are core to Footprints 4 Autism. If you would like to join us as a volunteer, click here to visit our volunteer application form.


All volunteers are expected to work a minimum of two shifts per month consisting of one morning session (four hours) and one afternoon session (four hours). Volunteers receive training in autism education, orientation, ongoing support, crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid. 

As mandated by the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act, clients must be aware that Footprints 4 Autism is not licensed as a child care program by the Government of Ontario.
